Updated June 2026: Allē reversed the September 2024 changes described below and returned to the original rewards program in January 2025. Beauty FX is back to full participation — patients earn and redeem points exactly as before. The story of what happened (and why) is below, followed by where things stand now.
What Is Alle Rewards?
Allē is Allergan’s loyalty rewards program for patients getting Botox, Juvéderm, and other Allergan treatments. Patients earn points on purchases and redeem those points as dollars off future Allergan treatments. For example, a Botox treatment might earn 200 points, redeemable for $20 off a future visit. Providers are reimbursed directly for redeemed points. So patients save money and providers keep clients coming back, without anyone losing out financially.
What Changed in September 2024
In September 2024, AbbVie/Allergan overhauled the program. Points could no longer be redeemed as dollars off. Instead, patients could redeem once per year toward a narrow list of specific products. Providers then received replacement product instead of direct reimbursement.
This created real problems. It nudged patients toward specific Allergan products regardless of what a provider’s clinical judgment said was the right choice for them. This created confusion when patients expected a “free” syringe but still owed an injection fee, since the provider’s time and expertise weren’t included in the points redemption. It shifted the conversation back to product cost, working against the effort providers put into helping patients understand the value of expertise and personalized care over per-syringe pricing.
Because of these concerns, Beauty FX scaled back our participation during this period.
The Reversal
The new structure didn’t last. Patients and practices pushed back, citing the financial impact, the operational confusion, and the strain on the provider-patient relationship. And AbbVie reverted Allē to its original program in January 2025, just a few months after the change took effect.
How Allē Works at Beauty FX Today
Now that Allē is back to its original structure, so are we. Beauty FX fully participates again: you earn points on Allergan and eligible non-Allergan purchases, and you can redeem those points as dollars off your next Botox, Juvéderm, or other eligible treatment — no once-a-year limit, no narrowed product list. If you paused or stopped tracking your points during the changeover, your balance should reflect the original earn-and-redeem rules again.
