  • Please fill out the intake paperwork listed on your appointment confirmation thoroughly and accurately, including your medical history, all medications, & herbal supplements.
  • To reduce the risk of bruising, refrain from consuming alcohol, aspirin, and anti-inflammatory medications at least 24-48 hours before the treatment.
    • Do not discontinue any prescription blood thinners without first consulting with your physician.
  • Please arrive to your appointment with clean skin, free of makeup or any topical products.
  • PRO-TIP: Begin taking a Zinc supplement 4 day prior to your appointment, this will help the product be more effective and last longer!
  • The practitioner will first perform a full facial evaluation and talk with you about what your areas of concern are in order to expertly tailor your treatment plan.
  • They will then use a fine needle to inject small amounts of Botox or Dysport into the targeted muscles.
  • Mild discomfort or a slight pinching sensation may be felt. The injection process itself typically only takes 5 minutes, depending on the number of areas being treated.
  • For 4-6 hours after injection:
    • Avoid rubbing or massaging the treated area to prevent the toxin from spreading to unintended muscles.
      • This includes wearing hats or headbands that will apply pressure to the area.
    • Avoid exercise or any activity that causes you to sweat as we don’t want you accidentally rubbing the area and we want to make sure that an increase in heart rate and blood pressure don’t cause the product to get washed out before it has time to take hold in the muscles.
  • Initial effects may be seen within a few days, with full results visible at around two weeks.
  • Schedule a 2 week follow-up appointment to assess the results and discuss any necessary touch-ups.
